We are creating a Sophisticated Stachel. This gorgeous purse is the perfect Mother's Day gift, just add a lil gift inside and wow Mom on her special day. Supplies needed:
Scoreboard
Baker's twine
Embellishments
Stickers
Brads
Measurements:
2~Pieces of cardstock cut to 8 1/2 x 11
2~Pieces of cardstock cut to 8 1/2 x 4
Front and Back Mats: 2 ~ Pieces of patterned paper cut to 8 1/2 x 5 3/4
Matting on the front flap: Single mat 1 piece patterned paper cut to 7 x 1 3/4, 2nd mat if you choose is 1 piece patterned paper cut to 6 3/4 x 1 1/2
Handles: 2 pieces of cardstock cut to 12 x 1 1/4, score in the middle at 5/8 inch
Bow: 1 piece of cardstock or patterned paper cut to 12 x 1 1/4
SCORING:
Side pieces: place the long side 8 1/2 inch and score at 5 1 /2, then turn to the 4 inch side and pencil mark (do not score) at 1/2 , 1, 3, and 3 1/2 inches, see the video on how to trim.
Base: Place the 11 inch side in scoreboard and score at 2 and 8 inches. Turn to the 8 1/2 inch side and pencil mark at 3/4 and 7 3/4 inches. See the video on how to trim.
