As I was scrolling through the isles of a local store, I came across an inspirational card I absolutely loved. My brain went spinning with ideas of how I could recreate it myself. I love making background papers with stamp sets I have. So I created a few background papers using Maymay's Garden Stamp set and her Wings stamp set.
Supplies used:
Oxide inks in : Pistachio, wilted violet, worn lipstick, broken china and fired brick
Echo park Paper pack: Just be you Black
Directions and measurements:
I took an A2 card base, folded the front of card base outward to the scoreline to make a Z-fold card. Score measurements are 5.5 and 2.25. To create the panels of the card I cut 4 pieces of card stock at 2.5 by 4. To create the front panel I trimmed a piece of card stock at 4.5 by 3.25. I then stamped flowers, butterflies and my sentiment using oxide inks. I also inked the edges of each panel but of course that is completely optional and not needed. I glued half the panel on the first/front panel. This created the z-fold card. I finished the card using a white gel pen to make stitches. So fun to make this and so many possibilities! Hope everyone enjoys it!

Sarmin, what an awesome card and theme. Love the bright colors. Thank you for such simple but clear instructions (and great photos). I have everything to make it except for a different 6×6 pad. Can’t wait to try this one.
Congrats on your card being selected to showcase on Maymay’s blog. YAY!
