A friend asked for a St Patrick's Day card. I have no shamrock stamps or paper; so this is what I came up with. Simple, but I think it's cute.
Supplies Used:
Score Tool
Green cardstock cut to A2 card base + 3.75x5" mat
White cardstock cut to two 4x5.25" mats + 3.25x1.5" sentiment strip
Green pattern paper scrap
White & green pattern paper scrap
Green Gem
Green Sharpie
Directions:
1. Cut & score cardstocks as listed above
2. Punch scalloped circle from white & green paper
Punch 4 hearts from green pattern paper
3. Stamp sentiment on a white strip
Cut banner ends
4. Add green stitching to sentiment strip
Add white stitching to green mat
5. Glue 4 hearts in the center of the scalloped circle to create shamrock (can add stem if you want)
Glue one white mat inside the base
Glue 2nd white mat to the front of the base
Glue green mat to front white mat
6. Add foam squares to scalloped circle & sentiment strip & adhere to green mat
7. Glue green gem in the center of the shamrock
* Don't forget to add a signature to the back of the card
* We cut 8.5x11" cardstock in half to create card bases; so why not make 2? All our supplies are out anyway, right? Simple & easy 2 for 1!

Genius! I love it! I have been trying to think of a way to make St. Patricks Day cards but could only think to try to find stickers or something. I like your card much better, much more personal touch! Thank you for sharing!!
