Today Maymay makes a paper notepad holder that was inspired by a gift she got from Across the Miles from Kathy. This would make a great gift or an easy peasy craft fair item. So gather up those supplies and let's create!
Measurements:
Topper Section: 1 piece of cardstock cut to 4x4 and 1 piece of cardstock cut to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
Bee Hive Section: Cut several pieces of light and dark yellow cardstock. Here are the measurements we used:
*3 /4 x 2; * 3/4 x 2 1/4; * 3/4 x 2 1/2; * 3/4 x 2 3/4; * 3/4 x 3; * 3/4 x 3 1/4; * 3/4 x 3 1/2( you may not need this one, depending on the size of the Topper Section)
Beehive Door: 1 piece of cardstock cut to 1 1/4 x 3 /4
Notepad Holder Cut Section: Measure up from the bottom of the Topper section and in from the sides at 3/8 of an inch and using a ruler and craft knife carefully make the slice. You may need to adjust this measurement to fit the width of your notepad.
Pencil Holder Section: 1 piece of cardstock cut to 1 1/4 x 2 3/4. Score at every 1/4 of an inch across the entire strip on the 1 1/4 inch side. Fold on the score lines to create a square like tube. Attach to the topper.
