Wagon Treat Box Just in Time for Fall

Red, gold and brown leaves falling, crisp breezes, apple and pumpkin picking..... Fall is around the corner and so are those classroom parties and family gatherings,  Join us today as Maymay walks us thru the process of making these adorable wagon treat boxes.  So gather up those supplies and grab a cuppa cuppa and let's create! 

 

Supplies used: 

Wheelbarrow Darice Die

Word Punch Board

Lawn Fawn Hemp Cord

Art Glitter Glue

Pokey Tool

Cricut Paper Trimmer

Distress Ink-Vintage Photo

Premium Cardstock Trio by BM and Maymay Made It- Lunch bag

TH Ink Blending Tool

Scotch Foam Tape roll

Crop-a-dile hole punch

Measurements: 

Wagon body: 

4~ wagons cut from lunch bag cardstock, use the die to ink the details with an ink blending tool and vintage photo distress ink. To get that details on the second side of the wagon, turn the die over and ink from the cut side: see the video. 

Treat Box: 

1 ~ piece of lunch bag cardstock cut to 4 3/4" x 2" On the 4 3/4" side score at  1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2". Turn cardstock to the 2" side and score at 1/4" and 1 3/4"

See the video to cut, trim and glue the box to the wagon body. 

Sign: 

1 ~ piece of lunch bag cardstock cut to 5/8" to the length need for the name.

1 ~ piece of lighter cardstock cut to 5/8" to the length need for the name to back the cut name piece.  Use the Word Punch Board to create the name, then ink drag with the vintage photo to create a wood-like finish. Use a brad and Lawn Fawn twine to hang the sign from the wagon. 

Axels: 

1 ~ piece cut from natural chipboard to measure 1/4" x 1 1/2".... glue these at the handle and wheel axel areas for stability.
