I was asked to make an Easter card for a little boy. Paper pieced the balloon parts was a lot of fun!

Kraft cardstock cut to A2 size card base
White cardstock cut to two 4.25x5.5" mats
Hello Easter 6x6" paper pad for piecing
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

1. Cut & score all cardstocks as listed above
2. On backside of Easter papers, stamp top & center of hot air balloon
On front side, stamp 1 of the bottom balloon sections
Stamp clouds over 1 white mat (not in center)
On inside mat, stamp bunny & inside sentiment
3. Fussy cut out 3 balloon sections & flip 2 over to front side
Fussy cut 1 carrots from Easter paper
4. Set bottom of balloon in center of cloud mat & stamp balloon string, so it is over top & on mat
5. On outside edges of 3 balloon pieces, use Sharpie to outline
6. Put foam squares on back of 3 balloon pieces & mount to cloud mat (lining up with strings)
7. Stamp directly on mat the balloon basket & sentiment above balloon
8. Add stitching to both mats & color bunny
9. Use AGG & adhere mats to card base
Adhere carrot to bunny's hand
*Don't forget to sign back of card base
*Can use any pattern paper you like/have for paper piecing balloon
*We cut 8.5x11" cardstock in half to create card base; so why not make 2? All our supplies are out anyway, right? Simple & easy 2 for1! 😊
