Trixie's Last minute Treat Bag by Crystal Cleveland

Trixies treat bag

Here's a last minute project for Valentine's Day. You can place a small bag of candy inside or a bag of easers, stickers or gum.

For this project you will need the following items:

Real red card stock 7.25"x 5.5" score at 2", 3.5, 5.5",7" turn and score at 1.5" (note: you can make 2 out of a single sheet of standard card stock)

Small piece of whisper white card stock

Water color pencils

Blender pen

Versafine black ink

sticky tape

Sweetheart punch

Border punch

Taking the red card stock fold on all the scored lines, then trim the card stock as shown in the pic.

Using a border punch (opt) bunch the top of the red card stock. Don't do what I did and decide to use a border punch after I put the bag together.

Punch out a heart on the front of the box see pic below.

Stamp two paw prints one on either side of the heart and bow wow under the heart.

Now put the red bag  together with tear and tape.

Stamp Trixie on white card stock and using water color pencils color Trixie and blend with the blender pen. Fussy Cut out when dry and pop up and place on the top of the treat bag.

Add a small treat in a clear bag.

 For a simpler version just decorate with any punches you may have.
