For today's project, Maymay starts decorating for Spring! She makes some napkin rings with bunny ears on top!! They are soooo stinking cute!!! So gather up those supplies and let's create!
Supplies used:
Cardstock- 65lb or lightweight is recommended
Easter Wishes Paper Collection by Echo Park
Chipboard- paper towel tube will work great
Pokey Tool-Kaiser Die Release Tool
Measurements:
Rosette: We started with a 10 x 7 1/2 inch piece of white lightweight cardstock. Score on the 7 1/2 inch side at 3 3/4, then turn it to the 10 1/2 side and score every 1/2 inch across the entire piece.
To create the ear shape, fold the rosette in half and draw an arc from one side of the open end of the fold to the opposite corner of the folded end- **see the video for complete instructions on the assembly of the ears**
Napkin Ring: take a piece of chipboard( paper towel roll) and cut it to 1 1/4 x 7 inches. Cut the pattern paper to the same measurements. Slowly make a curve in the chipboard until it starts to form a circle shape( see video) and then cover it with the pattern paper. HINT: do not add the decorative paper before you start the curve, it may start to wrinkle. Once you have the circle shape glue the ends together.
