I love this die cut so much, I always want to use it first at Christmas time so why not just let it kick off Christmas in July 2020!
I watched this lovely video from Teri Peacock and she did a wonderful job on her card, I only had to make one measurement adjustment for the die itself. See Teri's video here.
Measurements:
Start with a 5 1/2 x 12 inch piece of cardstock. In your trimmer place the cardstock in long ways and slide the edge to the 7/8 inch mark, sink your blade in at 1 inch and slide down until you reach 5 1/4 inches. Flip your cardstock and do the opposite side the same way.
Next, in your scoreboard, on the 12 inch side, score from the top of the page to the cut line at 1 inch, 2 inches, and 5 1/4 inches.
Inside the cut lines, score at 4 1/4 inches.
Lastly, score at 8 1/2 inches.
The cut pieces for the inside of the card are:
Woodgrain piece I used was 31/4 x 5 1/4 inches.
The center piece base mat was 3 x 5 1/4 and the kraft color piece was 2 3/4 x 5.
The top frame piece was 3 1/2 by 3 and the inside piece there was 3 1/4 by 2 3/4.
I hope you enjoy making this fun card and be sure to share your gorgeous creations with us on our customer gallery.
