Slimline Door Wreath Cards
Hi Crafty peeps, Robin here with another fun project to whip up for quick and easy Christmas cards!
Supplies:
Instructions:
Gathering the supplies let's get into it!
1.Using the inks, take white cardstock and stamps from the Instawreath stamp set to create a festive wreath. First I stamped the green parts of the wreath using the Memento Northern pine green ink.
2.Next I stamped using Memento Love Letter red ink and the poinsettia and ribbon from the stamp set.
3.After allowing image to dry, I carefully cut around and inside the middle of the wreath. Then using my Pink and Main Blending tool and the the Distress Ink in Vintage Photo, I inked around the edges to soften the white lines from cutting.
4.Now to make the card base, cut the Echo Park Wise Men Still Seek Him paper into an 8x7 inch rectangle, being careful of the directional papers in this pad, if using a sheet with writing, the lettering should follow the 7 inch side as shown.
5.Then score at 3 1/2 inches and fold with bone folder.
6.Using the Mintay Door paper pad, cut out image of choice.
7.Place strips of dimensional foam tape on back of image to give the card some depth.
8.Using the sticker sheet provided with the Wise Men Still Seek Him paper collection, choose a sentiment or saying for the front of the card. The colors in this collection work well with the Mintay Door pad. Next add pieces of dimensional foam to the back of the sentiment and the back of the wreath. Attach these as shown.
9.Place a few rhinestone gems from the Doodlebug design jewels in lily white and add to card to give it a little bit of sparkle.
And there you have it! A beautiful Christmas card to share with a special person. We would love to see how you recreate this look. Post photos in the customer gallery and share what you created! Until next time...
