Maymay's Pictorial Design Team Happy Easter Bridge Card

Hey, y’all! It’s Kim from KGDCreative (formerly known as KGDesigns_AL). I’m so ready for real Spring! The weather this week in Alabama has been fantastic and has certainly encouraged my longing for Spring and Summer! If you haven’t noticed, Easter is right around the corner and I’m here with a cute A2 card for Easter…with a little twist.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• white card stock

•  Echo Park’s “Have Faith” paper pack

Mintay’s Flora Book 4

Mr. Big Ears 2.0 stamp set

Distress Oxide Ink – Vintage Photo

Ink Blending Tool

Versa Fine Clair Nocturne Ink

Paper trimmer

Scoring board

Cutter Bee Scissors

Purple tape

Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue

Directions:

Three pieces of white card stock: 1 cut 4 1/4”x7 1/2”, 2 cut 2”x4 1/4”
Three pieces of patterned card stock from Echo Park’s “Have Faith” paper pack: all cut 1 7/8” x 4 1/8”

1. Score the 4 1/4"x7 1/2" white cardstock along the 7 1/2" side at 2”.

2. Using Distress Oxide ink in Vintage Photo and an ink blending tool, ink the edges of the patterned paper.

3. Adhere the first 1 7/8” x 4 1/8” piece of patterned card stock to the 2” section of the scored 4 1/4”x7 1/2” piece of white card stock.

4. Adhere the other two pieces of patterned card stock to the two 2”x4 1/4" pieces of white card stock and set aside.

5. Using your Cutter Bee Scissors, fussy cut the birdhouse image, three flower images, and two leaf images from Mintay’s “Flora Book 4”. Ink the edges of these images with Distress Oxide Ink in Vintage Photo.

6. Fold and burnish the 4 1/4”x7 1/2” piece along the score line made in step 1.

7. Using Purple tape, secure one of the 2”x4 1/4" pieces of card stock along the bottom edge of the card.

8. Adhere the 2nd piece of 2”x4 1/4" piece of cardstock vertically along the right side of the card forming a bridge between the top and bottom of the card. Make sure you only apply glue to the top and bottom portion. (Ask me how I know! Watch the YouTube video and you will find out!)

9. In the open section left on the left-center of the card, stamp your greeting. I chose the Happy Easter greeting from Mr. Big Ears 2.0 stamp set.

10. Arrange and adhere the birdhouse, flower, and leaf images on the right side “bridge” section of the card.

11. Adhere a scrap of the patterned card stock on the flap portion of a blank envelope and trim around the flap.

12. Stamp the bunny border from Mr. Big Ears 2.0 stamp set.
