Cutting Guide:
Neenah Solar White 110 lb Cardstock for the card base: Cut 5 ½” x 11”. Score along the 11” side at 1 ¼”, 4”, and 6 ¾”
Brutus Monroe Raven Cardstock: 3” x 4 ¼”, 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, 2 5/8” x 5 3/8”, 1 1/8” x 5 3/8”, Scrap large enough for the 2nd to smallest scallop circle die
Mintay 12 x 12 Winterland Paper Pack – Blue Snowflake: 4” x 5 ¼”, 2 ½” x 5 ¼”, 1” x 5 ¼”, 1 ½” x 12”, Scrap large enough for the smallest scallop circle die
Directions:
1. With the 1 ¼” score line of the card base to your left and the 6 ¾” score line on your right, fold the 6 ¾” score line to your left forming a valley, the 4” score line back to form a mountain and the 1 ¼” score line back to the left to form another valley. It will look like a “W” with a short “leg”.
2. Find the black that is cut 3” x 4 ¼”. Prep this piece with the embossing powder prep bag. Stamp the largest standing angel and the sentiment “Glory to God in the Highest” on the piece of cardstock – angel in the bottom right corner, sentiment in the top left corner.
3. Sprinkle on the fine detail embossing powder and set with the heat tool. (That part is magic!) Clean off the excess powder from the embossing powder prep bag with a clean, soft cloth.
4. Using the scallop punch, punch all four corners of the embossed piece using the scallop punch.
5. Using glue, adhere the pattern paper to the corresponding black cardstock: 4” x 5 ¼” onto the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, 2 ½” x 5 ¼” to the 2 5/8” x 5 3/8”, and the 1” x 5 ¼” to the 1 1/8” x 5 3/8”.
6. Adhere the largest piece to the inside of the card. The next smallest to the front of the “mountain” piece, and the smallest to the outside top flap).
7. Adhere the left edge of the embossed piece to the right edge of the smallest portion of your card base (outside top flap).
8. To make the belly band, fold the 1 ½” x 12” piece around the card loosely. You want the belly band to be tight enough to hold the card together but also loose enough to slip easily on and off of the card.
9. Adhere the ends together with glue.
10. Cut a circle from the black cardstock using the next to smallest circle die and cut a circle from the pattern paper using the smallest circle die.
11. Stamp the smallest standing angel onto the pattern paper circle using the black ink and adhere it to the black circle die cut piece.
12. Using the 3D foam squares, adhere the circles to the center of the belly band.
13. Paint the Wink of Stella on the small angel stamp to give it some shimmer.
