For this card I used:
*Black Cardstock
*White Cardstock
*Distress Sprayer by Ranger/Tim Holtz
*Tombow Mono Multi Glue
*Tonic Studio Tim Holtz Travel Stamp Platform
Card base measures 8 X 8. Fold in half so your card measures 4 X 8. Black panels measure 3 7/8 X 7 7/8. Front and inside card panels measure 3 3/4 X 7 3/4. I started by punching out the words MOM from my mini alphabet punch board in the same white Cardstock as my card base and card mat pieces. Then five more of each letter in Black (10 of the M in total) to create the elevation behind the the top white letters. Glue the black letters one top of each other - 5 M’s on top of each other, 5 O’s on top of each other and the other five m’s on top of each other and set them aside. Temporarily adhere the white MOM onto your white 3 3/4 X 7 3/4 panel whichever way you like best. Center, to the left or to the right. I chose to line them up to the right. Next, using the Wild Honey I inked up the bottom, then worn lipstick in the middle and faded jeans on top and black soot just over the top edge of the card and along the sides a little. (Your MOM are temporarily adhered on top of your panel and should have the same inked pattern as your panel). I inked it twice in this same pattern to ensure a nice rich coat. Then I gently sprayed a little water on top using my distress sprayer and soaked up the wetness right away. Then I situated my inked card panel in my stamp platform and lined up my stamps how I envisioned in my head 😉 and inked them up with Versafine Black Onyx ink and stamped them down, repeating as necessary ‘till I got a nice sharp image. Next I stamped the extra little seeds in the same manner. I peeled off the MOM and glued them onto the stacked black letters and then glued them in place onto the inked and now stamped panel. I glued that panel to a black panel and then glued those to the card front. For the inside I repeated the same inking pattern along the top edge of the card and hand stamped the seeds along the top. I glued that panel to a black panel then those to the inside of the card base. Tada! 😘😘
