Today's card is for the Maymay Made It design team challenge... and it's all about shaker cards!!
I began with a 4.25 x 5.5" card base. I made a smaller striped panel using masking tape and Distress Ink. I die cut a circle in the striped panel. For my shaker window, I used a clear overhead projector transparency sheet and adhered it on the backside of the panel. Then, I sealed around the shaker window with foam tape to pop it up. This allows the shaker elements space to move. I paper pieced the gingerbread girl and glued her down to my background circle. She is from Maymay's stamp set called "Ginger Fred". I added my shaker elements and glued the top panel in place. The card is finished off with a sentiment and baker's twine. Very fun!!
