May Flower Challenge
What a fun card to create. I used a few of Maymays Classic stamps to create this realistic looking flower jar. I took the Jar of Fun stamp set to create the jar, fussy cut out the outside and inside of the jar. I attached a piece of acetate on the back of the jar. I also added some foam tape around the frame of the jar. I put that piece aside and created the rest of my card. I used the same stamp set to create my background and also added fun leaves from the stamp set Floral kaleidoscope. I also stamped some flowers from that same stamp set using the Versafine Clair Inks. I used one of Brutus Monroe mini ink cubes in terracotta to create a faux background on the top and bottom of an A2 card base. After inking the background paper, I glued it onto my card base. I then put a few enamel dots where the jar would sit. I released the foam tape backing and adhered it to my background. I then glued some flowers directly on the background and some popped up using foam squares. I finished the card with a few embellishments on the center of the flower. That finished the card! I hope everyone gives it a try!
