IG Alumni DT project created by Candace Gillespie

‘Tis the season for homemade treats! I LOVE showering my neighbors and friends with handmade love.

Products Used:

- MMI stamp set “Blessings”

- MMI stamp set “Happy Fall Y'all"
- StāzOn Jet Black Ink
- Cricut Paper Trimmer
- Parchment paper
- Caramels (homemade or store bought - it’s the gesture that counts!)

Process:

Step 1: Tear off a manageable but large piece of parchment paper. Using all the different leaves from my most favorite Autumn themed stamp sets, “Blessings” and “Happy Fall,” stamp away using StāzOn Jet Black Ink. Make sure to stamp on the least smooth side. Once stamping is done, let the ink dry for a few minutes.

Step 2: Gently fold in half, lengthwise, do not crease - as much as possible anyway. Place into paper trimmer and cut three inch slices. Next, take those three inch strips and cut them down to five inches. They should be 3 inches x 5 inches now.

Step 3: Place each caramel onto the adorably festive candy wrappers, the uninked side, of course. Roll the caramel into the wrapper and twist the ends closed.

There you have it, some very thoughtful handmade (at least the wrapper is anyway if it’s store bought 😉😉) gift for your loved ones. Next week I’ll share another way to present these sweet treats so stay tuned!

Happy crafting crafty friends!

Kindly,

Candace Gillespie
