Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!
Today I want to share a really simple card for that special dad in your life!
Here is the inside:
Here is what I used:
- Brown Card Base: 4.25 x 11 (score at 5.5)
- Brown Front Layer: 4.25 x 3.5
- White Inside: 4 x 5.25
- White Front Layer: 4 x 3.25
- Silver Front: 4 x 5.25
- Silver Strip: .5 x 4
Twine
Here is how I did it:
Use the trimmer and bone folder to score card base at 5.5. Crease and set aside. For the foil piece, I used Cricut Poster Board, but you can also use aluminum foil. (just cut larger than needed and glue that to a piece of cardstock that is 4 x 5.25 and trim excess). Wrap twine on the right side of this piece twice.
Apply sticky strip to back and adhere to front of card. Glue the brown (4.25 x 3.5) piece to the silver along the left side.
Using the Memory Lane stamp, stamp the truck image using black ink toward the bottom of the (4 x 3.25) piece of white cardstock. Stamp the Happy and Father's Day images toward the upper right (as shown in picture) Use foam squares on the back of this and adhere to brown piece. Optional: If you have a Brother Scan N Cut, you can stamp the truck and it cut out. I did that, this way the individual truck was also popped up with foam squares.
For the inside: Adhere the silver strip along the right side of the (4 x 5.25) white piece. I have about a .75 inch gap. Adhere this to the inside of card.
Hope all of you have a Wonderful Wednesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
