Father's Day Gift Card Pocket Card
This is a super easy layering card, but cool enough to hold a gift card. Can adapt to any occasion with any papers & stamps you have. 😊

Black cardstock cut to A2 card case + 1x2 3/8" strip
White cardstock cut to 4x5.25" mat
Red plaid cardstock cut to 4x5.25" mat + 2 5/8x4" pocket mat
Red cardstock cut to 3x4 3/8" mat
1 Black button
Versafine Onyx Black
Versamark
White embossing powder
Heat tool
Stamping blocks

Foam tape

Optional: Rectangle dies & die cutting machine
*Optional: Instead of heat embossing, use a white gel pen or white cardstock & stamp in Versafine
1. Cut & score cardstocks as listed above, use dies if you like
2. Cut angle from center & 1 inch up from the bottom of red mat & pocket mat
3. With Versafine, stamp inside sentiment on the white mat
4. With Versamark, stamp sentiment on the black strip
Add embossing powder & melt with a heat tool
5. Adhere the plaid mat to the front of card base &
White mat inside
Use wet glue just around edges of the pocket mat to adhere to the red mat (Leave top & center free of glue to create the pocket for a gift card)
Glue button to top of the pocket
6. Use foam tape to adhere pocket to plaid mat & sentiment strip to pocket
*Don't forget to sign back of the card
*We cut 8.5x11" cardstock in half to create our card base, so why not make 2? All our supplies are out anyway, right? Easy peasy 2 for 1! 😊
