Awesome project! Question: Are the binding strips cut from regular black cardstock? Thank you! I don’t usually make albums, but this project has me tempted to try.

They called their purses “pocket books”

This is really cute! I took a class with Heartfelt Creations about a month ago that was a similar album, but a bird house. Same concept but hard to figure out how to glue it together. This can be decorated to look like a bird house without the handle on it, and that is what I am going to try and do. I could do it as the purse and call it Great Great Grandma’s ( ). I can’t remember the old name that people called a purse. I’m doing an album of just my daughter’s great grandfather’s side of the family and I have 5 generations of wedding rings coming down that branch to give her. I am so glad you showed this! I can’t talk to you on crafter after or anything, because Facebook always tells me I don’t have a name!!
