Easel Gift Card

Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!

Today I want to share a fun card that also doubles as a gift card holder.

Here is the inside where the gift card would go:

I really love everything about this card from the paper to the greeting. This would be a great thank you card to give to a friend along with a coffee shop gift card.

Here are the supplies I used:

Cardstock

Gray cardstock: 4.25 x 11 (score at 2 1/8 and 5.5)
Gray cardstock: 4 x 5.25, two at 1.5 x 4 (plus small scrap)
White cardstock: 1.25 x 3.75
White cardstock: scrap for stamping

Hello Fall Paper: 2 patterns at 4 x 5.25

Memory Lane stamp set

Fall Stitched Up stamp set

Art Glitter Glue

Bone Folder

Foam Dots

Foam Sticky Tape

Spectrum Noir Markers

Nectarine, Sandstone, Maple and Forest Green

Scissors

Black Memento Ink

Cricut Trimmer

Oval Punches

Here is the how to:

Use the bone folder and crease the cardstock on the score marks to create base of card. Adhere the (4.25 x 5.5) gray cardstock to the smaller portion of the card base. See image below.

Using a white gel pen or white pencil, draw dashes  in the small (1.5 x 4) piece of gray cardstock to create the look of a road. Attach this to the (4 x 5.25) pattern paper you choose for the front, place toward the bottom leaving room for greeting on top. Attach this piece to the gray piece you just adhered to the card base.

Using black ink, stamp the truck from the Memory Lane stamp set on scrap of white cardstock.  Cut out and color in with markers. Use foam dots and attach to front of card on the gray cardstock above the white lines. From the same stamp set, use black ink to stamp 2 of the larger pumpkins on scrap of white cardstock. Cut these out and color with markers. Use glue to attach to the back of the truck.

Use the greeting from the Fall Stitched Up stamp set and stamp with black ink on scrap of white cardstock. Punch out with punch of choice or just cut it into a shape. If you are using a punch, punch out a larger shape with the gray cardstock scrap or make shape larger to create a shadow affect. Use foam dots and attach the white to the gray, adhere this toward the top on the front of the card using glue.

From the Memory Lane stamp, with black ink on the small (1.25 x 3.75) white cardstock, stamp the greeting in the center of this piece. Stamp the same pumpkin on each side of the greeting, color the pumpkins in. Use glue to attach this piece to the gray (1.5 x 4) piece of gray cardstock. Apply foam tape to the bottom and sides of this piece. Adhere the other (4 x 5.25) pattern paper to inside of card. Attach greeting piece with foam tape to the bottom third of this layer (being sure to leave room for the gift card to fit correctly and the card to close). Insert the gift card and the card is finished.
