DIY Desk Organizer Stationary / Tag Holder

Products Used:
- 7 Pieces of 6 x 6 Chipboard
- Tim Holtz Ruler 12 Inch
- Cricut Basic Trimmer 12"

Directions for Cuts

Angeled Cuts:
- 4 pieces 6 x 6 
- Measure over on top 2"
- Measure up 1 1/2" from bottom
- Draw a line from mark to mark and then cut
- Use this piece as a template to mark other 3 pieces and cut them

Mark Base:

- 1 1/2"
- 3"
Turn and mark:
- 2" to the middle line
- 4" to the middle line

Dividers:
- 2 3/4" x 3"
- 2 1/4" x 3"
- 1 1/2" x 6" for the front piece

Binding Strips:
- 1" x 6" - 11 pieces, scored at 1/2"
- Angle cut ends to remove the bulk

Assembly:
- Mount pieces to side of chipboard base
- Glue a binding strip to the side base and then attach side piece
- Add a binding strip to the back of the side piece
- Add a binding strip to the side base and attach a side piece
- Add a binding piece to the side piece at the back
- Put glue on 3 sides of the back piece and then attach to binding strips
- Add binding strips to the bottom and back on inside dividers and glue down
- Add glue to sides and bottoms of small dividers if snug and stick in
- If spots are not snug make small binding strips to hold in place

For Front:
- You will need 1 1/2" x 1" binding strip
- Add binding strips to inside edges of 1 1/2" x 6" piece of cardstock
- Glue binding strips to the inside of the front sides
- 3" x 1" binding strip for a small front box
- Glue and stick to inside

Covering Box:
- Cut cardstock to 5 3/4" x 5 3/4"

For Sides:
- Mark top at 1 3/4"
- Mark bottom at 1 1/2"

For Back:
- 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" - Attach

For Front:
- 1 1/4" x 5 3/4"

Interior:
- Cut interior pieces the same as the outside sides
- Inside back strips 1 1/4" x 5 3/4" - 2 pieces
- Wide back piece 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" - 1 piece
- Taller short separator 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"
- Shorter separator 2" x 2 3/4"

Decorate:
- Decorate how you like it!
