Hello Friends,
This is the hardest thing I have ever had to announce to you. On Tuesday my precious mother went to be with her Lord and Savior. My mom was the most amazing woman I know and anyone you talk to will tell you the same about her. She taught me so much, she taught me to trust Jesus with everything. I am doing that, it is with much pain, sadness, fear, anger, love and joy. Mom taught me to feel all of those emotions and how to work through them. With God, through prayer. Mom would tell me just how beautiful Heaven is and what a wonderful reward we have before us.
Mom said to me a month ago, before she was sick “do you think it is strange that most people dread dying but that I just can’t wait to run to the arms of Jesus?” I told her no, that is exactly what I would think she wants. It is what I pray we all want.
Mom would want you to know Jesus as your personal Saviour. If you have never asked Jesus to be the Lord of you life and accepted Him and what He did for you on Calvary please don’t wait another moment to do that.
Those of you that know my mom or have come to know her through our channel, I have so much I want to say to you, to hopefully lift you up during what I know will be a difficult time for you. I will share that with you all soon.
For now, do what mom would do…. Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in Me- practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”
I will be back with you as soon as I can. I am taking some time to process this and to spend time with family reflecting on the wonderful gift that was my mom.
I won’t be away long, I can’t be, you are part of my support system and I will need you all in the days and weeks to come. Till then, you will see videos that were pre filmed and our schedule will run as usual except for this weeks devotion.
The staff is there for you, they are amazing, I do not know what we would do without them.
Please pray for our family. I would also like to add that my family’s church has established a Edna Gillenwater Legacy Children’s Ministry Fund. This is in lieu of flowers. Mom would want her ministry extended more than she would want flowers. “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8 If you would like to give to that fund I will share a link. Do not feel obligated, I just know you guys, many of you will want to do something and this is the absolute best for her.
We love you and we love how you love us!

Dear Maymay, Im so sorry. When Vinnie announced your Moms passing, I just started crying. Seeing her on your show so many times, I felt a piece of the pain you felt. My mom is in heaven also, I understand the emotions. There are no words to truly comfort you, but if I had them I would give them to you. Love you sweet Maymay and am praying for your family. Karen Z

I am praying for you and your family as you experience this most difficult loss. Regardless of our strong faith the death of a loved one, and most especially a mother, is by far one of the most difficult challenges we can face in this life. However, for those of us who know our Lord and Savior it is a time when the Holy Spirit ministers to us in ways that just can’t be explained. May the Spirit meet your every need today and in the days to come. We serve an awesome God who will see you through your grief.

The very last thing I expected Vinnie to give a Youtube Update about was the loss of your mother, dear sweet Edna. Having come to know her through your channel, I feel her loss deeply as i am certain all of your subscribers feel. She made us feel a part of her family welcoming us into her home for a tour during the holidays and when she spoke of her living testimony of our Heavenly Fathers love and grace. I feel strongly as well that she is walking with our brother and savior, Jesus, in hour Heavenly Father’s Kingdom and that comforts my heart. Sending prayers for peace and comfort and huge virtual hugs to you Maymay, Vinnie, Jared, Josh, Thomas, Jo and all the other members of your family. 🙋🏻♀️🙏🏽🙌🏽😢

Dear Maymay there are really no words, but I ask our Heavenly Father to continue to fill you with HIS peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Your mama gave life a whole different meaning when it came to joy and laughter. I loved it when she would come on the program with you, I’d pretend she would be my mama and we’d laugh and enjoy the moment! You know she’ll never be gone, she will continue to be cherished in all of our hearts that knew her even if through YouTube with you and Mr. Vinney. God bless you all in Christ Jesus’ precious name, Amen!💖

Maymay and family, may the lord be with you through these trying times. I am praying to God to keep all of you in his embrace while you grieve your loss. Take your time coming back, no rush, just take care of yourself. Your mom is right, I can’t wait to be in Jesus’ arms when it is my time. I do not fear death. Blessings to you all.

Maymay, I am so very sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. Even though we have the assurance that she now rests in the arms of her Savior, we still grieve that she is no longer present with us in the ways she has been. I pray you will find comfort and strength as you share memories with family and friends, and that you are feeling God’s precious love for you enfolding you, sustaining you, and granting you peace. We are all holding you close in thought and prayer.

My heart is breaking and rejoicing at the same time, dear Maymay, Vinnie, and family. You could see Jesus shining through Edna just in what we saw of her in your videos and what we see in you, Maymay. I never met her, but I loved her! You will all be in my prayers.
