Diamond Fold Card
Wow!! Looks complicated? Nah... You Can Do It!!
Directions
-Cut the pieces of cardstock that you will need-
Card Base 4" X 12",
2-Side Panels that measure 1 3/4" X 3 3/4",
Center Mats 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" & (2 1/4" X 2 1/4" optional),
Large Triangles and Small Triangles cut 2 pieces 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" (one is for large triangles -cut this piece in half then in half again to make the 2 Large triangles-you will have a ex large triangle left as scrap) the other piece you need to cut in half =2 pieces, then cut each one in half again = 4 pieces, then cut each in half again =8 small triangles.
-Score the Card Base piece with the long side in your score board score at 2", 4", 8", & 10". With the card base still in the scoreboard use a pencil and place a notch at the 6" and then turn completely around and notch the other side at 6". Using your cut groove of your paper trimmer (or your scoreboard) line up the notch to the outer score line- score a diagonal line, then turn and repeat to make a cross diagonal - repeat at the other end of piece giving you 2 cross lines.
-Crease all score lines with a bone folder.
-Glue all the panels into place with liquid glue to give you time to adjust into place and be sure to cover every edge with glue to ensure it is secure.
-Decorate with stamped images, stickers, embellishments, whatever you like.
