Hi! Bug here from Mediocre Arts And Crafts. I really enjoy mixing and matching different stamp sets to create something different. When planning out a scene that uses the masking technique, just remember that the images in front (ones not behind or obscured other objects) get stamped first. Masking paper just protects those foreground images!

2 Yellow strips of cardstock about 1” x ¾” cut to ribbon tails
Directions:
1. Lay your un-inked sink stamp Vinnie stamps on your card front and make some pencil marks where you want your dishes to go. Using the small stamp block and black ink, stamp the large bowl, stack of dishes and stack of mugs on the card front.
2. Stamp the Vinnie stamp, and the large bowl, stack of dishes and stack of mugs on the masking paper. Fussy cut the images. (keep in mind that you are only using Vinnie’s arm as a mask, I cut around a lot of detail that was really unnecessary.
3. Apply your cut out masking paper pieces to the large bowl, stack of dishes and stack of mugs images on your card front.
4. Stamp Vinnie onto the card front, being sure to line his platter up so that the large bowl image looks like it is sitting on the platter.
5. Apply the Vinnie masking paper to the image you stamped on the card front. Be sure to pay special attention to lining up the hand and sleeve.
6. Stamp the sink, being sure to line up the countertop with the stacks of dishes that you previously stamped.
7. Remove all your making paper and marvel at your creation!
8. Color your image using alcohol markers.
9. Glue your colored image onto your mat, and those onto your card base. Stamp the sentiment on your card stock circle, and attach it using foam tape. Trim your ribbon tailed pieces of cardstock to the desired length and glue them inserting the ends under the sentiment circle, layering if you like that look.
